Find your property in the Spanish Catastro
Enter the address as it would appear in Spain. You will see the aerial photo with the plot outlined and the basic Catastro data.
The Catastro is Spain's physical and tax inventory of property: plot, floor area, year of construction and use. It does not say who legally owns the property or whether it has mortgages or debts — that is in the Land Registry, and you see it in a nota simple.
Catastro and Land Registry do not always match. Extensions, pools or plot divisions that were never registered are common, which is why it is worth comparing both before buying.
