Why the correct Marbella registry matters
A request sent to the wrong Marbella registry is rejected. The correct office depends on the property’s exact location, so two homes in the municipality may be recorded by different Marbella registries.
Some properties in Ojén are covered by Marbella 1, some in Istán by Marbella 2, and some in Benahavís by Marbella 4. Those neighbouring towns may also be covered by other registries, so the municipality alone is not enough.
