Why the Alicante registry number matters
The name of an Alicante registry does not indicate which streets or plots it handles. If a request is sent to the wrong one, that registry cannot issue the document and the request is rejected.
This can happen even when the address is correct, simply because another Alicante registry holds the registered property, known as the finca.
Details needed to locate the property
Provide the exact property address, including the street number. Alternatively, use the 20-character cadastral reference shown on the IBI bill or in the deed, known as the escritura.
