Requesting a nota simple in Palma de Mallorca

Palma de Mallorca is divided between eight Registro de la Propiedad (Land Registry) offices. The office holding a particular property depends on its street and plot, so the registry name alone is not enough to select the correct one.

Why the correct Palma registry matters

Each registered property is held by one registry. If a nota simple request is sent to the wrong Palma office, it is rejected, even when the address is otherwise correct.

Some Palma registries also cover properties outside the municipality. This includes properties in Calvià, Banyalbufar, Bunyola, Deià, Esporles, Fornalutx, Sóller and Valldemossa, although those municipalities may also be covered by other registries.

Details needed to identify the registry

Have the full property address ready, including the street number. Alternatively, provide the 20-character cadastral reference shown on the IBI bill or the escritura (title deed).

Which Palma de Mallorca registry holds my property?

Can a Palma registry hold a property in Sóller or Calvià?

Yes, some Palma registries also cover properties in Sóller, Calvià and several other nearby municipalities. However, those municipalities may also be covered by other registries, so the correct office must be identified from the individual property details.
